You won the Major 1st prize at Your Wedding Guide Bridal Expo Gold Coast in January 2018 which included a wedding cake to the value of $500.00 in the package.
It was steady rain when we arrived at the venue – the beautiful O’Reilly’s Vineyard, Canungra on Saturday 6th October, 2018. We were delivering a heavy four tier wedding cake for 120 guests/dessert portions.
The bottom tier was chocolate mud, then white chocolate mud, white and dark chocolate marble mud and the top tier was mint chocolate mud cake. The brief for the decorations was silver or grey ribbon at the base of each tier, simple and elegant with fresh flowers consisting of red roses and red dahlias provided at the venue. A simple black acrylic cake topper with “to the Moon and back” completed the look.
The wedding reception was held in the Marquee which was decorated simply and minimalistic.
